UPDATE: Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Dear RE:CREATE Psychiatry community members,

We are saddened to share the news that we have suspended all of our face-to-face work, and closed the doors to our sister projects The Dragon Cafe and Dragon Cafe in the City, until further notice due to the pandemic.

It’s an incredibly distressing and uncertain time, but all of us staff and volunteers remain dedicated to creating opportunities for connection – connection to ourselves, to one another and to the world around us.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be co-producing a new, online programme to hold spaces for open-hearted dialogue in mental health, inspire creativity and support wellbeing. We’ll be working to identify the best ways of supporting community members without computers or internet access, community members in hospital and those of us who are most vulnerable right now.

Whether you use mental health services, work in mental health services, or both, we’d love to hear from you. Why not say hello and send us your ideas for our programme on Twitter or by email? You can also share your thoughts anonymously in our survey available here.

We’ll also be sharing regular updates about mental health and emotional support available in London and other parts of the UK, so do let us know what’s happening in your area.
