The People Speak @ ORTUS

The People Speak are facilitating a series of creative discussions as part of Bethlem Gallery’s Mental Health and Justice public engagement programme on Wednesday 26th February, Wednesday 25th March and Wednesday 1st April at ORTUS Conferencing and Events Venue.

Come along and contribute your ideas and opinions to an exciting research project which aims to rewrite the understanding of the intersection between mental health, justice and creativity.

Stay for as little or as long as you wish in these freeform, generative sessions, which will culminate in a new artwork responding to the themes of the Mental Health and Justice project.

You’ll also be able to hear from Mental Fight Club’s Managing Director Nora Maddock, and RE:CREATE Psychiatry’s Programme Manager Eve Loren, about working creatively with mental health services, and view Eve’s artwork in progress in Through Practice on display at ORTUS.
