To continue the work of our Living with Suicide project, we’re inviting people with experience of living with suicidal feelings, thoughts and acts to join us in a collaborative workshop to produce a short animated film.
This workshop will be co-hosted by the talented filmmaker John DeWinne, who runs Mind Wick film production company. No prior knowledge or experience of filmmaking is necessary to take part, as we’ll be working together to visualise the storyboard and guide the script.
This workshop will be a closed session for a maximum of 8 people, to ensure everyone has a chance to share their stories, experiences and ideas. We’ll begin with a group agreement to create a warm and supportive space for everyone taking part, and all stories and experiences will be treated anonymously in the film.
This workshop will take place on Friday 13th March, from 3:00pm – 5:30pm at Waterloo Action Centre, 14 Baylis Road, London SE1 7AA (map).
